Jess and her brilliantly-talented driver of a friend, Kim, piled into a car and drove through the mother of all blizzards for the two shows that Jess had lined up through Koffeehouse series at Sundance Film Festival in Park City, UT. The shows went so well that more requests followed and Jess ended up playing 6 shows in just 3 days! (Fatali on Main, The Distillery, The Gibson Lounge, Universal Records Filmaker Party & 2 Private Parties).

- "Count On Me" Debut in Times Square, New York, NY -

On Monday, June 8th, BFF.TV debuted Jess' music video for “Count on Me” on the Clear Channel Spectacolor billboard screen in Times Square. The video re-aired throughout the day!!
Thanks to all fans for uploading your photos! The winning slideshow in the BFF Slideshow contest debuted on the big screen as well!

- Jess Signs With New TV/Film Agent! -

It's official! While attending the well-respected ASCAP Lester Sill's Songwriter's workshop, where Jess had been one of a handful of musicians selected to participate, Jess had the good fortune of being introduced to Ingrid Michaelson's manager and founder of Secret Road Music Services, Lynn Grossman.
Upon review of her new CD, "Standing on Your Last Line,"Secret Road Music Services offered to represent Jess on behalf of her music catalogue for TV and Film placements.
Jess is thrilled to be working with such a wonderful agency!

Summer-Hibernation Mode = Over.
Back in April, Jess packed up all her guitars, keyboards and hundreds of shoes and made a beeline from NYC for Los Angeles...just two days after playing to a packed house at The Bitter End for the release of her new CD -
Taking a break from gigging, Jess has been writing tons of new tunes and piecing together a cool new sound. So do not despair folks...new music and videos are on the way...
Sorry it's been so long! I miss standing under those burning stage lights and giving my guitar a beating. Been setting up a kick-ass studio in LA so I'll be able to start rolling out some new music soon. Been getting a lot of label interest for the new record for film/TV placement - so keep your fingers crossed. Cant wait to hear what you all think of the new sound!

-July 2008-
Long-time co-colaborator, producer and drummer Tony Graci and Jess Furman joined forces once again to compose "The Save Game" which has been recorded by kid's rock group Toxic Muffin and will air on Episode #39 of Sesame Street.
How Cool?
Jess and Tony also placed an additional track entitled, "I'm Just Mad" on the newest Audra Rox record (to be produced by Mary Beller of They Might Be Giants) with Jess also placing a second song entitled, "Try Again" on the same album.
